This handbook provides a general overview of our fair and links to useful information.

The Mercer Science and Engineering Fair (MSEF) has been held for more than 50 years in  Mercer County, NJ. It is one of many competitions run by the Mercer Science and Engineering Club. This website supports all of our efforts. This document provides details about all aspects of the competition from fair registration to judging. It supports all participants including students, teachers and judges.

Our main competition is the Mercer Science and Engineering Fair. It is open to students of Mercer County in grades 6 through 12. It is held at Rider University, one of the fair's major sponsors, each March.

The fair is affiliated with The Society for Science that sponsors the annual Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) and the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge (JIC). Winner(s) from our fair are allowed to compete in these competitions.

This online document provides more information about how the fair works, how to use this site and how to participate in the fair.
