Abstract:

Bibliography/Citations:

D. Bibliography: List at least five (5) major references (e.g. science journal articles, books, internet sites) from your literature review. If you plan to use vertebrate animals, one of these references must be an animal care reference.
Choose one style and use it consistently to reference the literature used in the research plan    I will use the MLA citation style.

Research Plan:

C. Description in detail of the method or procedures
(The following are important and key items that should be included when formulating ANY AND ALL research plans.)

Materials and Methods

Materials
One standard tennis ball(will specify on brand when I see available selection)
One tape measure extending at least five feet
One thermometer
One freezer ( will specify on brand and temperature necessary)
5 ft poster board
Pencil

Methods
Use a ruler or a tape measure to draw all the inch markings up to five feet on the poster board. Place this board directly parallel to the wall in the infinity room.
Drop a tennis ball which has been left at room temperature for a minimum of 24 hours from a height of five feet above the ground in the infinity room. The ball must be within a distance of one foot of the poster board.
Use the poster board with the inch markings to note down the height of the ball right before the ball begins its descent
Repeat this process with the tennis ball after (a) 1 hour (b) four hours (c) eight hours and (d) 24 hours. Make sure to give the ball at least 24 hours in room temperature after each experiment.

Data Analysis: Describe the procedures you will use to analyze the data/results that answer research questions or hypotheses
I will compare the data of how high the tennis ball bounces after each spell in the freezer and use the data to answer the question of the experiment.
