This handbook provides information about the fair for teachers and mentors.
This handbook is a work in progress. Please send any questions, comments, etc. to the webmaster.
Getting Started
If you are a teacher or administrator then you have come to the right place. If you are a mentor or interested parent then this is also a good starting point. If you are a student or are looking for student information then check out the Students Handbook. Other useful handbooks for teachers include:
- Students Handbook - overall participation in a competition
- Registration Handbook - address fair registration submissions
- Fair Handbook - general information about our competitions and organization
- Website Handbook - cover general tabs on your home page
Teachers should read all the above so they are familiar with the competition and processes, the use this website, and how they can help their students participate.
Teachers can use this website in the following fashion:
- As an anonymous user
- You can view the online schedules and documentation
- As a registered user
- You must sign up for an account
- You can create submissions for participants (not recommended) but you cannot allow others to access those. You should not share your account with students
- Access to teacher only announcements
- Apply to be a school manager
- As a registered and a school manager (you should be using your school account)
- You must be a registered user that is approved to manage one or more schools
- You can create new users so they can create and manage their own applications
- View any application and its status for a managed school
We have implemented a new website so documentation and support are a work in progress. Contact us if you have questions that are not answered here or run into any issues related to the site or the registration process.
