Managing Schools

Teachers may manage the fair submissions for one or more schools. The user must have an account that has been assigned a Fair Teacher role. This is done by the website administrator after verification of the user's bonifides. 

Users with the Fair Teacher role will have a home page that has a  Request School Management button. The requests will be evaluated by the website managers who will approve or reject a request. Approved requests allow a teach to view the fair submissions associated with the selected school. 

Access to a managed school's fair submissions is a read-only affair. Teachers can view but cannot edit the submission.

Students can sign up for an account on this site our teachers can create the account for them. Students will then be able to create their fair submission using that account. 

The other alternative is for teachers to create the student submissions on their account but that will mean that the teacher will have to post all the information for each submission. We recommend that students have the own account and submit their own fair application.
