Mu Alpha Theta, the National High School and Two-Year College Mathematics Honor Society, is proud to honor the work of outstanding regional competitors by offering the Mu Alpha Theta Award for an individual project that demonstrate the most challenging, original, thorough, and creative investigation
of a problem involving mathematics accessible to high school students.

The winner of the Mu Alpha Theta Award must be in grades 9 through 12 and the winning project does not necessarily have to be entered in the mathematics category.
