Judge Groups

Judge groups are designed to help manage judges during an event. The following figure highlights the architecture from an object standpoint. Each Fair Event can refer to one or more Judge Group objects. These can be created by editing the Fair Event. The Judge Group can also be edited while editing the Fair Event.

Each Judge Group references users that have an account on the system. They must have the Fair Judge role. Normally the person will create a new Fair Judge account.

Each Judge Group has a head judge and a list of judges. Judge users will see the Judge Groups they are assigned to when they log in to the system.

The Judge Group will also include a list of categories and special awards. The group will be generating a list of awards for the categories they judge as well as for any special awards.
