The My Notes tab on your home page is only presented for those assigned a Judge role. There are two types of notes:

• Judge Group Notes
• Submission Notes

All notes have restricted access with a Judge role required for minimum access. There is also a note field that is private that only the author of the note will have access to. You can create one Judge Group note for each group you may be assigned to. Usually you will be assigned to a single group. 

You can create one submission note per fair submission you are judging. These submissions can be found the main submission list or from a judge group submission list, usually presented by category. 

Only you can edit your notes. You can view the public fields of all notes for a judge group or submission. This provides a way to collaborate with other judges. 

Judge Group Note

You will have one of these notes per Judge Group that you are assigned to. The can be found in the Judge tab on your home page. 

A Judge Group Note will have the following section:

• News - news for the judges in the group
• Question and Answers - suggestions for general questions for all participants
• Judge Group Note - general group note
• Private Note - your personal note that only you can see
• Feedback Note - potential feedback to students

Submission Note

The Submission Note has a similar format and the list of your notes is found in the My Notes tab on your home page. 

• Question and Answers - suggestions for questions and answers for this submission
• Judge Group Note - general group note
• Private Note - your personal note that only you can see
• Feedback Note - potential feedback to participants
